Am I over cautious what do you think?

About 3/4 weeks ago someone knocked on my door and asked if I had any kitchen foil as he wanted it to put round a fuse on his car radio, I brought the roll of foil to the door and asked how much he needed I thought it was quite a big piece he asked for but gave it to him anyway. He was clean, nicely dressed and probaly in his 40's I never thought any more about it. Today there was some one at the door and by the time I had found my key and unlocked the door the same man was speaking to my neighbour and I heard him mention kitchen foil, so I locked my door but a few minuets later he was knocking on the door again which I didn't answer. He had given my neighbour the same excuse that he wanted foil for a car fuse, she said she didn't have any, she thought that he was wanting it for "other purposes", what do you think? Are we being over cautious, surely he could have driven home without having the radio on, if this was the real reason he wanted the foil for.

He's a nutter??

Seriously, who can't go to the shops and buy some frigging foil??

Also, what sort of lazy/crazy person fixes their car radio with tin foil??
