Does anyone know what went off down Frog Walk? I saw that the Police had sealed the Sharrow Vale Road end off this morning, CSI van present and Copper standing guard.

I don't know but that place should be shutdown completely from both ends.

It is dangerous for women IMHO, on the odd occasion I have had to walk down it in the past it even gives me the heeby jeebies!

I've walked down it loads of times and usually there's no one about. It is though a muggers' paradise but shutting it down completely is a bit of a daft idea.

It's a footpath, from Sharrow Vale Road down to the river and Cemetery Road.

We run down it sometimes as part of our lunchtime run.

 

Can't say that it's very threatening during the middle of the day.

On the gender politics issue: yes, I think it is pretty obvious that it has the appearance and track record of being potentially dangerous for all - but more dangerous for women specifically.
