wateronsnow   10 #1 Posted July 16, 2014 Hi guys,  I am looking for a lovely place to have a champagne brunch on the morning of my wedding. I planned on going to the Milestone, but they don't do brunch during the week.  Any ideas?  Thank you.
 Share this content via...

alternageek   10 #3 Posted July 16, 2014 Tamper at Sellers Wheel? http://tampercoffee.co.uk/sellers-wheel/ They dont say anything on the menu, but they do breakfast so I'm sure they would be willing to talk to you about accommodating your needs. They also have a private hire room  Maybe Browns near the Peace Gardens? At a pinch it might work.
 Share this content via...

Tess   10 #5 Posted July 17, 2014 I bet you'd be able to get one at Fancie, depending on when it reopens.
 Share this content via...

Mouserat   10 #7 Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) owls101's suggestion of hotels, like the Leopold, is probably a good one, or upmarket early-opening pubs / bars. St. Paul's have a champagne bar next to the Winter Gardens that opens mid-morning - never been, so don't know what food, if any, they offer. Cafe Rouge does reasonable breakfasts and also champagne by the glass or bottle. Forum cafe bar serves breakfast, and champagne / cocktails - I think all the forum bars do good food, although it's not that lovely or glamorous a location.  It might be worth asking the Curator's House restaurant in the Botanical Gardens. I've never eaten there, but it is a nice setting, and they do breakfasts, and wine. Also Eten Cafe by the Cathedral - another one I've not tried, but it gets rave reviews, has a good breakfast menu and is fully licensed.  It depends what time you want to brunch - quite a few places seem to open up around 11, but I'm assuming that you might want to start earlier than that? alternageek   10 #8 Posted July 18, 2014 I think the Milestone are opening up on that site.  I think theyve taken over the brand, like they did at the Wig & Pen.
 Share this content via...
SheffInsider   10 #9 Posted July 18, 2014 I know the Wig and Pen in the city centre do brunch, so maybe that's worth a try. The Brooklyn in Kelham Island also does brunch.
 Share this content via...
