Isle Of Skye - accommodation?

Recommended Posts

Would like to stay on the Isle of Skye next year and would appreciate hearing from anyone who could recommend a good B & B or Hotel on the island.

It depends on what you want of course, but if you are going for walking/climbing than the Sligachan Hotel is well placed near the Cuilins, It is also very central to the rest of the island, meaning you can get places.

It reminds me of Mulligan and O'Hare off The Smell of Reeves And Mortimer :)

Another version might be more soothing to your ears!

It will likely be in a separate country by next year so make sure you take your passport! And get your sterling changed to either Euros or Scottish pounds. And brush up on your Gaelic Scots.

If Scotland leaves the UK, their permission to speak English will be revoked!

Having visited Aberdeen a few times, it sounded like they stopped speaking English a long time ago.

I will treat that remark with the utter contempt it deserves.
