What should I do today?

Recommended Posts

Pack a picnic and spend the day in the local park if the weather is ok. Avoid the TDF at all cost !

It's a once in a lifetime event, and you'd rather sit in a park you can use any day of the year.

Some people are idiots.

What should I do today? I've got 2 kids and no car, suggestions?

you can always sit back in your favourite armchair and watch the bicyclists go by on TV. that should keep you occupied for a few more days yet or take up tennis but you'll be lucky to get get a court with Wimbledon just finished, or do what I do is play solitaire

you could watch the bicyclists wobbling their little arses up the hills that should keep you occupied for the rest of the week

Train to Skeggy?

Bus to Hathersage, to use the open air pool?

Picnic in Ecclesall park (or any park), kids can go on swings, feed ducks etc?

Check out Sheffield Libraries and Activity Sheffield websites, they have lots of child friendly activities organised too.

So what did you do?

Asking a question like yours it helps if you say what ages the children are.
