My pet hate on some ads is where you get the company boss doing it rather than outsourcing it to save a few pounds. The Yorkshire windows and doors comes to mind, along with the old gent on the help-link.co.uk ads.

The 'old gent' on the help link ads is Johnny Ball. He presented 'Think Of A Number' on telly in the eighties, and us father to Zoe Ball.

Any adverts that talk down to you like you're some sort of brain dead moron.

 

The best adverts used to be for alcohol and cigarettes, some of those were really clever and funny, but they got banned. These days I do like the radio adverts for Tom Tom.

The latest ford advert. I absolutely refuse to buy a product if the company cannot be bothered to make an advert for a market as big as the Uk and instead very badly dub a euro one ( which is rubbish anyway).
