same thing here. The IDF is trying to achieve military objectives. They are not socking it to the Palestinians, for the sake of it. If they wanted to just sock it to the Palestinians for the sake of it, they'd just bomb them from a distance without sending any ground troops in and putting them at risk. However just bombing Gaza from the air won't do anything about the tunnels and it won't do much about destroying Hamas terrorist infrastructure and rocket launchers.

Wrong, the use of ground troops is to reduce civilian casualties, Israel has the firepower to destroy Gaza and its people without sending in ground troops, they choose not to use that firepower and instead risk the lives of ground troops.

Israel can do what it like to who it like when it likes, and if anyone objects, then the USA will quash all objections.

 

The USA and Israel are the real people that create terror, so they both back each otehr up, as if one falls, both will be in the spotlight. Torture is now legal, so killing through torture is legitimised by the USA, as well as invading and bombing countries that are in essence no threat to it at all. Both Israel and the USA support Saudi Arabia who are financing, I mean sponsoring the terrorists in Syria and Iraq, not forgetting training them.

 

The laws are now made by the USA for the USA and any sovereign state that refuses "OFFERS" is a marked nation, so only China, Iran and Russia to go, all other nations have USA military bases that control their government and economy. All these nations find that buying USA weapons, including the UK are obligatory, weather they need nuke s and nuke subs like the UK, or not.

 

The media just repeats, expands, and exaggerates US policy aims, there is no questions asked, as a one sided argument is all that is required. If a nation is told it is doing something, it becomes a media fact overnight, with out puppet politicians singing from the song sheet provided.

 

When the USA tells our politicians to jump, we do not need to ask how high, we know what they want and we feed the propaganda to our poorly informed population.

 

Israel is the 4th largest military power on earth, and we all pretend Hamas is a threat? I get more of a threat from wasps in summer. Israel is a state that is in the front line of threatening nations, it was Iran for the last 18 months, it bombs Syria to help the cut throat rebels it backs, and the whole war is about destroying Gaza's right to the vast oil and gas reserves just off its coast. It wants to steal it all, and Tony Blair has sorted a deal out with the EU to shaft Russian, Gasprom. The facts are out there but not in the British media, as we do not need to know what the grown ups are playing at.

They very fact that they are willing to send in ground troops at all rather than just blasting everything in Gaza indiscriminately means that the Israelis do not want to inflict any more civilian casualties on the Arabs than they possibly can. Even if it means dozens of Israeli families getting bereaved, which they will be. Israel want to deal with Hamas and Hizbullah, each of whom have many thousands of rockets pointed in their direction. Hamas and Hizbullah. Not the Gaza and the Lebanese people.
