There's a carpenter on Merlin bridge hogisons I think he is called he might be able to help I got mine from wicks and adjusted them to fit

Thanks for the replies, i forgot to mention that we need them yo be external aluminium doors, but will contact the above mentioned suppliers to check if the make them.

In view of the fact that they are going to be external doors, do make absolutely certain that they are secure. I know that they are not like patio doors but these are a well known target for burglars, who find them relatively easy to get into to. We have recently had extra security put on our patio doors for this very reason. If you are at all concerned by the safety issue, research it first and perhaps have a word with the crime prevention officer at the local police station. If they are to go on a wall where others can see in, or the garden is not secure, be particularly careful.

Jeldwen are a company which have been recommended to me since I started having problems with my bifolding doors.

 

Well, in all fairness they were a problem from the word go. They were bought from Roundbrand...good price, good product.

 

The numerous problems I've had with them have occured because the fitter (who Roundbrand recommended) installed them so badly. It has taken 2 years to get the problems sorted and even now I'm not convinced they'll stand the test of time.

 

I would definitely recommend purchasing the doors from a company who both supply and fit, otherwise you run the risk of having the same fiasco I've had.....the fitter blames the product, the company blames the fitter etc etc.

 

I love the bi-fold doors I have, but if I'd have know what was to come I would have opted for larger sliding doors or french doors.
