Ferrets às pets

Now is the time some people will be looking at buying a ferret kit

Please before you buy make sure it is what you want

ferrets need time spending on them and are a bit more difficult than other pets they need to exercise and need a large cage

Read up about ferrets before you buy and if they are for you then you will find they are the best pet money can buy thank you for reading steve

Couldn't agree more, ferrets are fairly high maintenance and are miserable shut up in a cage all of the time, People don't realise just how sociable they are and just how much they want to spend time with people and other ferrets, they are intelligent, lively animals that need company and a variety of things to do to be happy.

Having said all of that ferrets are happy to sleep a lot and will be happy to wake up and spend time with you when you come home from work, but they do need lots of time to play and socialise then.

Ferrets are not like other animals and as Steve says you really must research thoroughly, particularly around feeding and Female reproduction, you REALLY MUST NOT leave a Female in season for more than a couple of weeks.

Ferrets are wonderful, interactive, fun and addictive pets, but please do think it through before you buy, myself, and I am sure Steve would be more than happy to advise anyone that is thinking of having ferrets as pets.

i totally agree with you there , at breeding season there are some total dingbats out there with the mentality of get a boy n girl ferret , loads of babies loads of money , IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY ! PLEASE CONSIDER RESCUES BEFORE GOING AND BUYING FROM A BACK STREET BREEDER ,

there are plenty of ferret fans only too happy to help advise in all aspects of the ferret world
