This magnitude of scrounging public money seems to be of no interest to this forum or the masses, but when even the minimalist amount of public money is claimed by somebody off colour / foreign / disabled or poor and or lives in a council flat most folk are completely livid and outraged

No interest.

There's a thread like this nearly every other day!

:hihi::hihi:Rotherham scrounger!

Spot on! They have the poor arguing amongst themselves for a few quid a week as they cash starve services and they call them scroungers, whilst the rest of us are paying for their totally over the top lavish lifestyles when they have millions in the bank and elsewhere....

Its not much more than when Labour were using it. Using the Mirror's own information:

Labour’s David Miliband only used the des res – situated between Downing Street and Buckingham Palace – for official functions when he did the job.

At the time that was costing taxpayers just over £600,000 a year.

£1644 a day?

And if we're comparing fortunes:

Mr Hague made a fortune from writing and speaking engagements after stepping down as Tory leader in the wake of his 2001 election drubbing.

So has Miliband:

£21K-a-day David Miliband exploits tax loophole that his Government pledged to close

I've no problem with highlighting government waste and value for money, I've campaigned against it for years and will continue to do so, but this is just typical Mirror hypocrisy.

The whole system is a sham scam. We should start a campaign to encourage refusing to vote, on the grounds that all voting can do is shuffle the injustices around, whilst perpetuating the myth that it can bring change.

If, on poll days, it's revealed that, say, 60% of the population proactively chose not to vote (i.e. not laziness) that might just pass on the message that we're on the to fact that politics is an appeasement con.
