I think i knew vinny lax he worked with me at firth brown tools in the mid 1970's he also had an older brother called eric lax who also worked at firth brown tools

He was six months ago I saw him in the Mosborough Miners Welfare Club,he,s the guy I refered to in my original post on here,I remember the football badges,he was a friendly popular bloke he always sold plenty shellfish when we used to see him in the Queens Hotel in the 80s!:thumbsup:

I remember Vinny in the Vine at Mosborough, also saw him selling scarves etc at Wembley on a few occasions, grey haired and friendly, bit of a cheeky chappy type.
