EE has blocked Sheffield Forum!

Recommended Posts

Hi, apparently EE has blocked Sheffield Forum as they say some of the content is for 18 and over! It can still be accessed over wifi but not using the normal data when out of wifi coverage. Has anyone else experienced this?

I experienced this the other day. I couldn't believe it when I saw the over 18 sign!!! Moderators must be allowing porn on Sheffield Forum. Tut Tut :nono::hihi:

I'm not surprised considering the aggression and group bullying that I see from time to time.

Maybe the mods should take a leaf out of EE's book ?

Just contact EE and tell them you want their stupid content filter turned off. All mobile providers have one which they turn on by default, but they're always over-zealous about which sites they block. They should be turned OFF by default in my view. What's wrong with treating adults like adults?

I had to check mine and mine was fine! I will be pee'd off if they did that to me.

You do however lots of parents get their kids phones on contracts in their name because their little darling "simply must have the latest smartphone".

It's because of this that the content filter is automatically applied unless specifically asked not to at the start of the contract.

It's a glitch on their system. I have content blocking turned off but a couple of days ago I couldn't get onto Sheffield Forum. However it fixed itself the next day without me having to ring EE to sort it.

Are they blocking everything? For the last few weeks i have had massive problems loading anything with their 3g. To be honest I suspect a deliberate throttling of the 3g signal.

Hmmm I've noticed the same but I'm with O2, loading pictures on twitter takes forever.
