Finding the filter for a samsung American fridge

I need to change the water filter for my samsung American fridge. I don't have the original manual and the online information says either the top right hand corner, at the bottom behind the salad draw or in the grill at the back. Both myself and finance have practically taken the fridge apart trying to find it. Even sales assistance in several shops are non the wiser. We have emailed samsung and they are very slow to reply, so I thought I would give it ago in here... Hope someone can help
