Gerrard Giggs, Waddle or Currie

All outstanding players, had to laugh with the banner saying GIGG 13- Gerrard

Surely it's a team game and without the help of his teammates Giggsy wouldn't have won so many.

Gerrard 4 world cups, Giggs 0

Who is the best in the above list

1st Waddle, 2nd Currie, 3rd Gerrard, 4th Giggs for me

What has Waddle ever won?

I don't get the question, how are you judging them as "best"?

Because the only reason Waddle would be top,is if he was being judged by an Owl.

Biased much?

BTW,you do realise Giggs is Welsh don't you?

You can't hold that against him not going to a World cup lol

If he had chosen England,he would have been one of the best wingers we had seen in an England shirt in ages.

Comparing Waddle to Currie, is like comparing a Lada with a Ferrari; Waddle could not even lace Currie's boots.

Tony Currie ...only in Sheffield could have been labelled great..over rated by a country mile

And you live where? & saw Currie how many times play?

I saw Currie play for United and Leeds many times - carthorse comes to mind in hindsight. However i was and still am a huge fan of his. I once saw him playing for Leeds and he lost the ball in the opponents penalty box, by the time he got back to defend my dad had lit and smoked a cigarette.

I've watched Waddle more times than Currie, and i do have to admit his deadball talent was far superior to TC.

For me Giggsy has always had the more talent, pace and presence on the pitch, but i don't think he would have survived '70s style football.

What does it matter where I live ,he was a medium size fish in a little pond ((Sheff Utd) nothing more he certainly was nowhere near world class ,good but easily forgettable outside Sheffield...I think his cap tally says it all

I've seen Waddle and Currie. And Sabella and Giggs and Gerrard for that matter.

The one that I'd pay most to see again is Waddle. Pure box office.

Waddle and Andrei Kanchelskis put in the two most memorable individual performances that I've ever seen.

Currie was lazy and wasted his talent.

Giggs is better than the lot.

Never saw Currie play.

Never saw much of Waddle either but know his penalty kick is orbiting the earth along with simonson's penalty kick.

Gerrard is just not as good as Giggs.

I wouldn't normally agree with you "Glamrocker" aka "Noddyholder". On this occasion, you are correct though.

Monkeys, typewriters etc.

Giggs is a tremendous player, that is true. He was also an excellent pro, as evidenced by his longevity.

He wasn't an inspirational player though. I'd rather watch Scholes or Beckham than Giggs. They have the X factor, Giggs is just a classy winger.

That's why I prefer Waddle over all of them. You never knew what he'd do next.
