steph5285 Â Â 10 #1 Posted June 10, 2014 I work in the Capita building on the Parkway and our AirCon has stopped working and possibly wont be fixed for 2 weeks! Â If any ice cream vans would like to visit the office please let me know. Â The office has 7 floors and I'm sure most people within the office would be grateful for a cold treat. If i know of any vans looking to pay a visit or two i will inform the onsite security. Â Please drop me a private message if you are interested. The best time to visit the office would probably be around 2pm. Â Thanks
 Share this content via...

No User Name   10 #8 Posted June 10, 2014 And in plain English that means?  Well there are rules concerning temperatures of workplaces. Heard from someone else that it has been like a sweatbox in there as of late. Two weeks to fix AC is ridiculous.
 Share this content via...

sheffbag   229 #10 Posted June 10, 2014 workplace act of 1992 supercedes that and there is no maximum working temperature. It waffles on about "thermal comfort" instead  You need at least 10% of the workforce to complain before company is forced to act. julesmarie   10 #12 Posted June 10, 2014 The workplace should be providing cold drinks free, that's what Freemans used to do, years ago, and gave us the odd ice lolly now and then, yummy.
 Share this content via...
