Trying to find name of a film

Recommended Posts

I remember watching a film on TV years ago but have failed to track it down

Here is what I remember

It had a father/daughter cast, possibly John Mills and Juliet or Hayley

There were among a group of people holed up in a bank following a robbery

The police tried to get them removed by bombarding them with Engelbert Humperdink 'Please Release Me'

There is a guy running around with his underpants stuffed full of banknotes

I believe it was made in Germany for some reason

Yes I know it should be easy to track down, but I have so far failed

Grateful for any help

Cheers

Don't remember the film? But it sounds just like the crazy mad daft sort of thing you would watch!

Best... Pat.

Hey Up Youth!

Funnily enough as I typed that post, I was thinking about an even dafter animation that you and I watched around forty years ago - in darkest Woodseats I believe

Cheers

Can't remember the film? But that's not all that unusual considering our take on life then!

Nearest I can get to it is the flat I was living in at the time on Derbyshire lane.

I vaguely remember me, you, Mike Woodhouse and a lady friend at time "Jackie"

But in all honesty quite a lot of it's a blur, except for the bets - which I always seemed to win -Snooker, Flags, you name it!

Do you still have that website? For some reason it either crashed or you took it down or it was taken down, which seems like the more realistic option...

Still living down the road from "The Cottage."

Keeping Keeping on Patrico.

Mike was there for sure, I thought it was his place but could be mistaken.

The only thing I remember about the animation is that it was a comedy sci fi thing called something like Captain xxx and the xxx xxxx, and it started with a snooker ball coming through a living room window.

We all had terrible hangovers at the time

I have a new website now of which I will pm to you the address. The old one is still active after being suspended - which is why I switched to WIX.

You were dead lucky with that snooker bet:suspect:
