No,Mark Carney said,the UK does not build enough houses................and then he stopped,see,no mention of immigrants,because he hasn't got an axe to grind or a prejudice to re enforce.

One simple answer is - get rid of all the 'illegal' immigrants that are here ! That should help the housing crisis for starters.

At that point even Ron Jeremy doesnt care whether the nurse is an immigrant or not, or whether the surgeon speaks English with an accent, all they care about is getting back to their children, regardless of their country of residence.

 

So who is Ron Jeremy to deny equal rights to those looking after him in his time of need?

Don't think there'll be much of an NHS left for my dotage. Will have been picked clean by all and Sunni coming from foreign shores to get what is their right. Hopefully Cameron will clamp down on this too.

 

I fully agree that the importation of West Indian nurses and hospital staff in the fifties, the mass immigration that so worried our forebears, helped the NHS on its feet, but the most recent influx of seriously mass uninvited immigration is little more than a gerrymandering scam by labour.

 

I find it very difficult to stomach hearing lifelong nay generation long labour supporters and voters complaining in one breath about immigration and the next how Cameron is to blame. Cameron is trying to clamp down on it. Failing but trying.

Tim. There are many many more foreign patients than there are staff. More than there should be proportionally. And I have no problem with small scale selective immigration. Perhaps just a drop say 20000 doctors. That is a tiny number compared with the annual immigration of 500000.
