Really? How so?

The EDL are undoubtedly anti-Islam, not specifically anti-grooming. They are not complaining about grooming gangs, but Muslim grooming gangs.

@Meltbell - Why have you done a sex offence thread and turned it in to a race thing?

You trying to stir it up, sit back, relax and enjoy a cup of tea and biscuit?

(Shakes head)...

I'm going to crack open the hobnobs anall then.

Maybe they are, maybe they are not, but the fear of offending their religion was one of the primary reason they got away with it for so long.

The Oxford grooming ring was promoted by imams who encourage followers to think white women deserve to be “punished”, an Islamic leader has claimed.

No it wasn't, it was because the girls and their families were scared of coming forward which is the case with a lot of sexual abuse crimes. If they had been out cruising one night and the girls had been 15 year old Asian girls they would have approached them in the same manner. Race is only a factor in the sense that most Asian Muslim families wouldn't allow their 15 year old girls to be out at that time of night and rightly so.

Your second paragraph is utter nonsense. Promoted by which Imams? Who is this Islamic leader and what is he quoted as saying exactly? The Sun will not do as evidence.

I know the Oxford area quite well and I've never heard any Imam there talking about white women let alone encouraging grooming of under age white girls.

You are of cause incorrect on both counts.

Strange, every young Asian lad I have ever known has preferred white women.

That's probably why you know them because they prefer white women. Are you claiming to know every Asian lad in the UK? If you don't then you can't claim they all like white women better.
