I have a theory as to why the are called Kippers, take a look at any photo of Mr Farage or the former leader Kilroy Silk and you will see they both have a orange/brown smoked tint about them just like a kipper. I first thought they were both from distant parts not England but it seems that both of them spent a lot of time in the sun.

Probably the same people who are going to be paying for them to stay for the rest of their lives.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/10271855/Number-of-foreign-nationals-on-benefits-soars-to-400000.html

Less than 5 per cent of EU migrants are claiming Jobseekers’ Allowance, while less than 10 per cent are claiming other DWP working-age benefits.

On top of this, the think tank Class found that of those who claim Jobseekers’ Allowance, 91.5 per cent are UK nationals. Additionally, among unemployed migrants, only 1 per cent claim unemployment benefits, compared to the 4 per cent of unemployed UK nationals who are claimants.

Rather than being “benefit tourists”, migrants to the UK make a net contribution, as they pay more in taxes than they take out in benefits. A UCL study this month found that the UK gains £20bn from European migrants. And a study by the OECD last year found that migrants make a net contribution of over 2000 pounds per head.

http://www.cityam.com/1415719653/european-court-justice-rules-states-can-refuse-welfare-immigrants-how-many-benefits

Last week, researchers at University College London released a report showing that between 1995 and 2011, immigrants from the EU paid £4.4bn more in tax than they took out in services.

EU and non-EU migrants are a vital part of the labour force, together making up 26 per cent of NHS doctors, 28 per cent of food preparation and hospitality workers and 22 per cent of natural and social science professionals.

As an added bonus, immigrants also improve our productivity, helping to boost UK wages. In 2013, Cinzia Rienzo at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research found that a one per cent increase in the immigrant share in the labour force is associated with an increase in labour productivity of between 0.06 and 0.07 per cent.

So while the European Court of Justice may have delivered a verdict that will allow David Cameron to boost his tough rhetoric on immigration, today's ruling is not going to lead to a massive cut in the UK's budget deficit and it remains the case EU migrants were not in any way a net drain on the public finances even with working age benefits.

Please, please, don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

http://www.express.co.uk/comment/columnists/leo-mckinstry/532371/Leo-McKinstry-mass-immigration-disaster-UK

THE drive by the metropolitan elite to foist mass immigration on this country has been accompanied by a barrage of deceitful propaganda.

One of the lead researchers on the study was Professor Christian Dustmann, who predicted in 2003 that just 13,000 migrants would come to Britain from eastern europe when restrictions on movement were lifted.

In reality, more than 200,000 have annually been arriving in recent years. His co-author is Dr Tomaso Frattini.

Furthermore, the report does not examine the physical strains that have EU migration has imposed on our public infrastructure, especially trans- port, housing, schools and the NHS.

The import of cheap labour, extolled by a bizarre alliance of left-wingers and big business, has other heavy economic costs, like exerting a constant downward pressure on living standards and forcing a vast swathe of working-class Britons onto the dole.

Obviously.McKinstry has no answer to the reports that EU immigrants are net contributors to the UK,as his only answer is that they should be taken with 'a large pinch of salt'............fact free journalism.

He then goes on to Non EU immigration as the cause of his concern,a fact that all reports have acknowledged as being a source of non contribution, as the only way he can support his article, but the government has concentrated on EU immigration, not non EU immigration, which they have control over,so what he and the rest of the Anti Immigrationists have to ask themselves is,what good is controlling EU immigration, which is not disputed as being net contributory, when it is in fact Non EU immigration that has cost the UK over a couple of decades?

From the same article:

The pro-immigration brigade wants to focus only on the eU precisely because the wider picture destroys their argu- ments. But arrivals from outside europe have long made up the majority of the influx to Britain.

Under the last Labour, two thirds of migrants hailed particularly Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Even on the latest annual figures, the number of non-eU migrants, at 265,000, still far exceeded the total from the EU, at 214,000. Again, the reality of life in non-european mogrant communicities contradicts all the fashionavle propaganda about their economuc dynamism.

IN TRUTH, people from these backgrounds are more likely than the traditional British population to be out of work, on welfare, and in social housing. Just 10 per cent of Somalians, for example, are in full-time jobs, while more than 80 per cent of Bangladeshi and Pakistani women are not in paid employment.

The unemployment rate for black African men in Britain is more than double that for white men.

So you'd deport a British subject? What if the immigrant has a British partner?

She did,

That alliance also includes the Tories as well as other conservative parties across Europe. Unemployment is falling here at the moment too, not something Kippers like to mention.

UKIP are doing more for immigrants who are already here than Labour. The people coming in are a threat to the life they have built here and are poorer for the recent flood of EU migrants.

I agree on both counts, the problem is that many of the jobs being created are very low paid jobs that require topping up from government funds, meaning the people taking these jobs are still a net drain on government finances.

How are the wages going to go up if UK born workers take the jobs?............By magic?...........the same wages topped up by government paid to foreigners and being a drain will be exactly the same wages paid to UK workers taking those jobs and being topped up by the government.

Are you seriously comparing someone who's been accused of being a Jihadist with someone who's parent has lost their job? Remember the context of the post involved a little discussion about deporting immigrants and their British children if they didn't have e a job.

Lower wages more demand for dwindling public services. Don't ask me ask the Asians in Page Hall.
