I just did answer.

You might be satisfied by not losing too badly. I have higher standards, I’m afraid.

no you didnt,  i asked "how come they didnt suffer as badly in the 2017 election"? you just said "they lost"...that doesnt answer the question, if labour lost so badly in the 2019 how come they didnt suffer as badly in the 2017 election with socialist policies, when in fact in 2017 they increased their share of the vote i believe, the fact remains that the brexit fiasco was the undoing of labour and not so much the actual policies,

Losing is losing. I don’t agree with the premise of your question. They suffered just as badly in 2017, because they lost.

I do agree that Brexit was a factor. The main part it played was to allow Corbyn to look like a dithering fool by not stating a clear position. However,  he took plenty of other opportunities to reinforce that image too.

At least we agree on brexit, ...were not debating whether  Corbyn came across as a dithering fool, we were debating the socialist policies, policies that were backed up with 163  of the UK's top economists, and i stand by my point, if they were not popular labour would have been thrashed in 2017 , and they were not, you fail to counter that argument....declaring a loss is a loss does not disprove my statement

Ok, Banjo. If it makes you happy, Corbyn was God made man. RLB is his anointed successor and will chase the Tories from office for ever. A socialist utopia will be established and we shall all get free kittens and super fast broadband.

You need to nip out to Rother Valley and chat with some locals.

the direction of the party is just great thanks, its moved to the left

This raises the question ‘Are you a closet Tory’ ?
It’s what most Tories want,  ie to make the Labour Party completely unelectable for the foreseeable future !

For starters they moved further to the left wanting to nationalise anything that wasn't nailed down. And they still didn't nail down antisemitism accusations.

Equally, they should have strolled 2017, when they were solidly brexit, and the Tories were still awful.

antisemitism was a load of old bull, it was no bigger problem in the party than in any other party...how come the tories dont get backed into a corner over Islamaphobia?

He's got form. By the looks of it, he thinks my Jewish relatives are making up their concerns.

But take that out of the equation - Labour should not have lost in 2017.
