I have on the relevant threads.  This is a Labour party thread, so I tend to just discuss Labour matters here.   I've certainly no qualms about calling out the Lib Dems and Tories on their threads.    My last post on the Tory thread was to call Boris Johnson a "poundland Berlusconi".

As a lifelong Labour voter until 2009 I hate what the party has now become.  People like you hate Blairite Labour supporters, and that's your problem.

You may not have said its acceptable, but you are trying to worm your way out of it by repeatedly stating that 0.08% isn't a lot.  Its hundreds.

One is too many when you see the hate directed at certain individuals and the misery it causes.

As for "lack of action, this statement from the BBC sums it up perfectly:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-45030552

And you have to wonder how serious their action is when this is reported:

Labour general secretary Jennie Formby 'deleted emails about anti-semitism'

https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/political-parties/labour-party/news/105219/labour-general-secretary-jennie-formby-deleted

and

https://order-order.com/2019/02/11/labour-expelled-12-members-anti-semitism/

But you havent have you? other parties also  have a problem with racism, but i have never seen you post anything about their racism problem,  but for some reason you like to keep blabbing on about antisemitsm in the labour party,  yeah you called  Boris Johnson a "poundland Berlusconi". but thats not actually what i am talking about is it?

Thanks for providing the figures, it highlights my point perfectly, out of a party of over half a million, there are only 96 people that have been suspended? that isnt a lot .. you have already admitted 0.08% is not a lot, and thats 96 only suspended, not even kicked out of the party.

220 let off due to lack of evidence??? if there is no evidence then they could not have been guilty of anything, i know you love to think that there is a massive problem in the party, but the evidence doesnt back it up, your own figures above prove that...

and you do realise that Formby has done more to stamp out antisemitism in the party than her predecessor Mc Nicholl?

You keep repeating this and its wrong.

I said that 0.08% doesn't sound a lot.

But when you put it into actual numbers, it is.

But I guess you don't care about the upset and misery its caused every individual who has been targeted.

But, keep on burying your head in the sand.  Corbyn continues to do little to rein in his band of hate filled followers, his leadership is a joke because he's not a leader, but a career backbencher, and the party continues to lose support in the polls.

You're probably hoping and praying he can turn it around.  If you are, you're delusional.

Note that it's not the Morning Star or the Daily Mirror that gets told about Labour's future plans.

If it was Blair, folk would be saying pandering to the metropolitan elite, speaking to GQ first.

In the recent past, David Cameron and Theresa May have wrote articles for the Telegraph and the Sun. Similarly The Telegraph and other right wing newspapers have exclusives straight from the Tory Party. How is that different?

Well the Sun & Telegraph would be where you'd expect Cameron & May to write / be interviewed by.

GQ is hardly going to be the kind of mag your average trade unionist or Lab supporter is going  to buy, especially as its run by a very wealth American media firm.

What?  Corbyn cozying up to corporate America?  Maybe he's looking at the possibility of being their London fashion correspondent is a few months.  After all he does now own a suit.

According to today's i newspaper, McDonnell has said both he & Corbyn will stand down if they lose the next General Election.  McDonnell also says that a woman should run the Lab Party & has named Angela Rayner as a possible successor.

Please please let it be her, the woman with the toilet mouth would be unelectable. What about Diane, first woman of colour to be Labour Leader, and PM if Boris makes a hash of things.

Not going too well is it,

Labour membership plunges as thousands quit party, leaving Corbyn with cash problem

LABOUR lost more than half a million pounds last year as members left the party in their droves and staffing costs soared, according to the party’s annual report.

The official figures show reveal a shortfall of £655,000 in 2018, compared with a surplus of £1.45 million the year before. Staff costs have rose from £16 million to almost £18.5 million in 2018 while 45,784 people left the party.

remind me again of how many hundreds of thousands the membership has increased compared to when  Corbyn wasnt the leader? and to put it into perspective how they compare to the other political parties?

And yet they still managed to lose the election.
