Commenting on the news, a Labour source said:

“Only three days into its existence and the Independent Group is already a shambles. They’re refusing to report who their donors are, they’ve registered as a private company to avoid doing so, and now there might be evidence of data theft. They embody everything that’s broken in the politics of the past.”

you vote for the best option available to you...a tory lite is still better than a tory..............................just

Tory Lite is the only Labour government you've managed to get since the 1970s. Labour-proper is nothing more than a protest group with no chance of governing.

So the three Tory's that were expected to leave have now gone.  Good. Especially the horrid Soubry woman, the arch Remoaner.

The 11 Rats who have fled their two sinking ships should be called "The Traitor Party" seeing as all of them are trying to sabotage Brexit and go against the wishes of the  people.

no i vote labour because of socialist principles, as far as i am aware socialist principles dont apply in the tory party...perhaps labour/dems, or tory/dems....not labour/tory

it proves to me that they were never in the right party....

i cant wait to find out who is funding them, its a shame they have a tax fiddle Panama account,

Both Labour and The tories are a disgrace who couldnt organise a drinking session in a brewery between them . In all my 50 odd years, ive never known the two main political parties in the UK to be such an embarrassing shambles.

Are you crying right now? 11 MPs have gone with their conscience and now the DUP don’t hold all the cards which might mean Theresa doesn’t need to give them billions and have them hold the job up.  Perversely, they might end up getting you a brexit, al5ough not the one you want.

In Liverpool they've now moved their hate onto something else:

Derek Hatton: Former Militant member readmitted to Labour 34 years after expulsion

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/derek-hatton-labour-member-militant-liverpool-corbyn-nec-party-kinnock-a8785736.html

After the slating of Berger I was expecting to see support for him, but the wounds of what he did run very deep in the city.

And two days later Hatton is suspended.

Yeah, apparently its over this tweet...

“Jewish people with any sense of humanity need to start speaking out publicly against the ruthless murdering being carried out by Israel!”

which seems fair enough to me, but i suppose it is now deemed as antisemitic, along with any other criticism of Israel,

This is what all the antisemitism nonsense in the labour party is all about, stifling any criticism of Israel..

Seems like it. Labour appear to be the responsible ones here for failing to adequately secure their information. I think a complaint to the ICO about Labours inability to organise a damn thing is in order....

Now it's out of context so you need to bear that in mind.

But really - how is that anti semitic. Criticism of Israel is perfectly reasonable in this situation  - yes it skates a bit close to the edge. Much as I detest Hatton though I think that it's wrong to cast aspersions of anti semitism on him here.

If you sat down with pen and paper you just could not make this up. My opinion is that Hatton is a bad egg and it's doubtful a bad egg could ever be made into a good one.

I am not sure if I get your point, but If you think I was happy having people like her in the party that just sowed division, then not at all, we need a few more to go as well, then we can all continue as a united force to fight the tories..no enemy within

my point was that you were happy that they obtained seats in parliament under the Labour banner preventing the Conservatives from increasing their majority further.
