http://www.jewishsocialist.org.uk/news/item/statement-on-labours-problem-with-antisemitism-from-the-jewish-socialists-g

"The Jewish Socialists’ Group sees the current fearmongering about antisemitism in the Labour Party for what it is – a conscious and concerted effort by right-wing political forces to undermine the growing support among Jews and non-Jews alike for the Labour Party leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, and a measure of the desperation of his opponents".

Look. Let's just get that up there in bold once and for all, shall we.

One thing you cannot accuse Jeremy Corbyn of (or Livingstone for that matter) is antisemitism.

JC is a man of integrity and a man of peace, who believes solutions can be found by listening to both sides of an argument and trying to find a way through it by talking to both sides. Any military action must be absolutely the last resort.

I would have thought these principles were highly desirable in a politician, a man who doesn't go off half-cocked for dubious reasons and put people's lives at risk.

Only the unintelligent or the uninformed see the world in black and white..

As for Blake's post 3384 about the Jewish vote; not voting Labour is the perogative of all, for all sorts of reasons, not because they see Labour as antisemitic, although no one would blame them for succumbing to the disgusting Media's attempts to paint the Labour party as such.

No, Corbyn listens to both sides when it suits him.

There's plenty of evidence and video footage out there of him running away and avoiding awkward questions.

That is not the sign of a man of integrity, or evidence of a man willing to confront an issue.

But no doubt you'll say this is down to the conspiracy of the media plotting against him.

Sinn Féin's Gerry Adams hopes Corbyn will become the UK's next, 'For the benefit of the people of Britain' & calls Corbyn an outstanding politician.

Well Corbyn always supported 'The cause', rightly or wrongly & as much as I personally disagree with the majority or his politics & his causes, sometimes it takes an individual / individuals to take certain actions or a stand to try & change things, which might not be palatable at the time but in the long term view of things, eventually make things better.

Even Thatcher was talking behind the scenes to the IRA at the height of the 'Troubles'; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-16366413

Maybe her mistake was not to go public?

Is this post to slander him?

What" cause" did he support?

I think you'll find Corbyn like many in Labour supported peace.

Britain and the Northern Ireland statelet were hardly an innocent, in fact the UK/Northern Ireland Govt, with their tools the Judiciary, the RUC, the UDR,OO, and the British backed Loyalist Death Squads etc were not far from being a fascist regime in regards to it's treatment of the Irish Nationalist populace.

How easy it is to criticise or slander someone who was against all that.

The British Establishment and Govt has alot to answer for in regard to their crimes in Ireland..

Not exactly a surprise. Sinn Fein were always supposed to be a bit of a socialist party.

McGuiness would not have made the same remark. Like I said when he died, we're going to miss him. Despite his terrorist past, and unlike Adams ever will, he grew up.

Did the Labour party recently get a dressing down from the equalities commission for charging black minority ethnic people £10 less than white people to attend Labour rallies? :loopy:

Working people need a credible Labour party not this calamitous farce.

The usual charge to attend a Labour rally is £40 but they lowered it to £30 for black and minority ethnic people.

Probably well meaning I suppose but its a bit of a clanger and shows how immature millennials have more or less taken over the party.
