Why? Isn't that what they are marching for?

No, they are calling for a referendum without conditions to get us out of this mess, not to form part of some dodgy bargaining.

Why on earth should May’s deal be a referendum choice given virtually no one supports it?

Because there are only 3 concrete options

Leave with no deal

Leave with the current WA

Remain

Boos for Tom Watson when he told the rally in London that he would vote for May's deal if she promised a referendum.

Apparently people are still marching into Trafalgar Square even though the rally ended over two hours ago. The BBC are now conceding that there could have been over a million people there.

When it gets to 18 million let me know, until then the number is meaningless.

Really?

During the week Teresa May slagged off her own Parliament because in her opinion they were going against the wishes of the people and only she was acting for the people.

Then a few days later a million people march against Brexit in London and over four and a half million people call for Article 50 to be revoked in the biggest online petition ever, by some margin.

Meanwhile in pro-Brexit land, 150 people march through a small village in Nottinghamshire.

By and large demos and petitions don't to do much other than give people a chance to let off steam. These three events however are very significant, particularly in the week before we were supposed to leave the EU.

If nothing else, politicians on both sides of the divide should now cease using the phrase 'will of the people'.

No matter what he says, Watson is bound to get booed.  He's absolutely hated by the Corbyn faithful.

They see him as trying to steal his job, rather than turn Labour around.

Shame she spoilt it with the political point scoring though.

Quote

“Breast cancer has had so much investment that outcomes are really positive, but I know that other cancers have less funding for research and treatment and that access to such good cancer care isn’t the same all across the country.

“I feel pride that we are all working together for a Labour government that will change this. I will continue to work as much as I can. For those days when I can’t, the executive directors and my direct team will make sure everything carries on as usual.”

So if she wants to talk about the NHS under Labour (where it is in Wales):

Man who broke egg on Corbyns head gets 28 days in Jail

https://news.sky.com/story/brexit-supporter-who-egged-jeremy-corbyn-pleads-guilty-to-assault-11674799

They say Mr Corbyn was left with a red mark on his head after the vicious attack. Our jails will be even more over-flowing with this new law and order clampdown. Or possibly not.

I was once headbutted in Sheffield by a drunk, requiring stitches, he got £100 fine. Maybe if he'd cracked an egg on my head, he would have got a custodial sentence? Or possibly not.
