To be honest as à Labour Party member and activist I think it's only fair and reasonable that any thoughts and opinions I have should be run past the Board of Deputies to make sure I've not transgressed somewhere along the line.

Its the the only way.

Yes it has, that's why Labour will never get elected aging if it keeps picking leaders in the Corbyn mould.

The electorate saw through all Labours policies as just another Labour government putting the country into billions of debt AGAIN, on top of the mountain of debt we already have.

No it hasn't, the over riding factor was the brexit fiasco, the socialist policies were quite amiable to the general public, take away the odd silly policy like free internet etc, then they were not bad policies, thats why the media and Doris never really wanted to talk about the policies, in fact Doris never even talked about his own policies.. just the constant ramblings of getting brexit done..

Long Bailey would be a gift to the Torry's watched her interview  on Sunday about getting rid of the house of Lords but when asked what she would replace it with she clearly had very little idea.

She also recently gave Corbyn 10/10 quite unbelievable really I fear for the future of the party at least when Foot was in they realised their mistakes and knew they had to change. Now after a disastrous election there seems to be little admission they did anything wrong.

When I heard this, I recalled the news story the other day that Labour membership had soared by 60,000, and wondered if it was Tory scallywags doing it to get her in and keep Labour out of power, like they did with Corbyn.

If its not them, then I'm really saddened they're doing nothing to welcome back former centrist supporters.

She was the same in 2017 when interviewed as Shadow Business Secretary about the plans to nationalise the utilities.  She had no figures to hand, plucked some random ones out of thin air and was torn to shreds.

This reminds me of when the left was firmly in charge during the early 1980's when they were internally supporting candidates popular with the party but unlikely to get them elected and that did not end well!

There is so much work to be done to make them electable again starting with a leader that is an asset to the party not a hindrance like Corbyn clearly was.So far they don't seem to think theres a problem let alone trying to fix it.

I've just been reading about the Momentum decision. Its democracy at its finest

do you want Long Bailey?  Yes/No

And thats it, no alternative, nothing to do with the chairman of momentum being involved in her campaign already at all. Just a single candidate nomination take it or leave it.

Nothing has been confirmed by anyone, everyone just has their own opinion, including the media

Momentum don't decide who gets elected, its the membership who decide
