What does it tell you when a former Labour MP now an independent tells you to vote Conservative. Interesting...

..... the left will always claim the media is bias towards the right and vice versa, what are your own observations ?

Which is why an independent academic study* would be useful, although such studies in the past have shown a bias to the right across all media.

(*Of course the right are also suspicious of academics and also view them as a bunch of lefties! 😳)

Ah mel, the Independant itself could be argued to be bias towards labour, it is generally left leaning, maybe even the Loughborough uni academics are too, like the Mirror, the Guardian, Channel 4, the BBC and much of the left leaning social media outlets..... the left will always claim the media is bias towards the right and vice versa, what are your own observations ?

In 2015 The Independent campaigned for a Conservative / Liberal coalition Government. Not sure about the 2017 election.

The BBC left leaning???  Not sure if you're repeating a trope from the 1980s, but this last few years, even according to Conservative supporters, the BBC is generally hostile to the left.

Rule 1, when trying to counter accusations of bias, best not to use such a heavily biased rag like The Canary

Anyway, in other Labour news:

Do you think it was fake news and that Nick Robinson (A founder member of the Macclesfield Young Conservatives and president of the Oxford University Conservative Association in his youth) didn't accuse the BBC of anti-Corbyn bias?
