Oh dear, there doesn't seem to be any brotherly love for any party leader!

Corbyn's brother publicly humiliates Labour leader in furious rant at Brexit-blocking MPs

Quote

Piers Corbyn said Labour had not “respected the result of the referendum” and gave his support to Tory leader Boris Johnson

Not sure what that's got to do with Labour on a Labour thread, unless "whataboutism" is your only argument.

Your post implied that it was only Labour that didn’t want Johnson to set a date for the election when in fact it’s every party in Parliament, apart from the Tories and the DUP.

That's a pretty desperate attempt to minimise the impact of Jo Johnson's recent actions by saying 'look Jeremy's brother disagrees with him too'. If Piers Corbyn was in his brother's shadow cabinet, or even just a Labour MP, it might have some weight. The reality is Piers Corbyn runs a company that provides the Express with it weather armageddon forecasts - he has no credibility on brexit.

He is already hated by the membership anyway

Why? (genuine question, not a smark comment)

He's the deputy leader of their party

He tries his best to undermine the leader of the party at every opportunity...he is the deputy leader but only got there on false presences, he would never get elected again by the membership..serious answer

He's seen as the enemy, not a socialist, more of a 'blairite'

That is assuming that Corbyn will be in eternal opposition, and that fact can not be proven one way or the other

Corbyn came very close, from being a whole bunch of points behind in 2017.

If Corbyn wasn’t so rubbish on Brexit he would probably be 5-10 points ahead of this clown car of a Johnson government.

"If..." A real cop out there.

If I have a million pounds I would be a millionaire but I don't so I'm not.

The reality is that compo IS rubbish on Brexit and he DID NOT get 5-10 points ahead.

For all your desperate attempt to defend him his failures have clearly lead situation we are in now.

Weak incompetent opposition leader which has lead to the loons taking over the asylum on both sides of the house.

3 years of being wedged firmly on the fence that his ass must hurt.  Failure to give a clear message, failure to take decisive action, failure to look beyond his Union and protest group paymasters, failure to seek appeal to the wider voting populus

If he wasn't such a stupid stubborn old fart he would have gone a long time ago and let somebody in who can actually have a chance of winning the election and not polarise the electorate.
