I wouldn't be too surprised if that were true.

The alt-right, who don't have the anti Semitism at its core that the far right does, has taken Israel to their hearts as an example of a 'true ethno state', particularly the settlement areas populated by very extreme right wing Zionists.

Although I doubt that the state of Israel has any official ties with the alt-right, they will certainly take advantage of their in roads into social media for their own ends.

The néo cons during the Bush administration had 100% support for Israël. Bizarrely some biblical justification, Christian Zionism, but predominantly geo political

That's nice... Now we have other counries deciding our politics. Aren't there rules about this sort of thing?

There is no international laws at present to prevent this going on.

The only current legislation are national laws which prevent citizens colluding in such interference which can't sanction the foreign power carrying out the interference.

The solution lies in vigilance over social media rather than unenforceable legislation. In the recent abortion referendum in Ireland, the Irish government, facebook and Twitter took steps to prevent US anti abortionist interference in the vote, by examining the origins of the many Vote No facebook pages and Twitter accounts that sprang up, deleting any that could not be shown to have originated in Ireland or be run by Irish citizens.

No- because there's no such thing as "international law" at all.

But back on the topic of the Labour Party...

Yes. It's the EU (as to which the Labour Party is favourably inclined, generally).

That just doesn't make sense on any level. Anyone care to explain?

Somebody should tell Liz Truss life doesn't end outside London. There's plenty of property (and brown field sites) north of Watford gap, we just need the jobs and investment to go with it.

Anna, you really should stop reading the Daily Mail if it upsets you.

As for needing the jobs, unemployment is very low at the moment, mind that could change quickly if we get a labour government any time soon.
