Let me chip in.

People should remember that Labour policy also resulted in a million dead in the Middle East during their time in power. It fuelled terrorism that left us with the legacy of constant threat, billion pound bills to police and erosion of hard won freedoms. Unforgivable in my books.

A million dead and rising, and created a situation that we will have to fight for the rest of our lives.

Not desperate, just a clear picture of the hypocrisy of Miliband and his champagne socialists.

Have you posted the many examples of Tory hypocrisy on the Tory thread?

^^^A desperate attempt to influence public opinion on polling day^^^

I don't think he is desperate at all, he points out cogently the facts. If this country decides today to vote in the human representation of Wallace and Grommitt we carry out an act of collective insanity.

We will also bring forward the one man who has been unseen throughout the whole election period, the cleverest man in UK politics, who hates England and the English and will actually delight in seeing England fail.

Alex Salmond.

Yes, Labour did do that and they did it with the support of your Tory Party. So you are just as guilty as Blair on that one.

Nope. Feel free to do it though - just make sure it's factual and not based on the usual leftwing paranoid crap.

It would be prudent to lay most blame at the door of the instigator.

Oh sweet baby Jesus. Blair LIED to the house. Do you not remember the dodgy dossier? 45 minutes from doom? All this came from lies peddled by the Labour cabinet at the time.

They won support because the Labour spin machine created dodgy dossiers and sexed up intelligence reports. The duped may have been gullible but that certainly doesn't make them as guilty as the con-men who tricked them.

Labour has blood on its' hands and I can't forgive it yet. The only person from the senior or middle ranks of the party to show any integrity was Robin Cook who resigned... all the rest looked the other way and toed the line for the sake of their careers. And that includes half of the current leadership. Ironic that the Tories are labelled the nasty party by Labour supporters... apparently the bedroom tax is more abhorrent than blowing up children.

Hang on a minute, after 2007, Scottish Conservatives helped prop up Alex Salmond's first minority government in the Scottish parliament!

So the Tories were quite happy to do deals with a party who "hates England and the English and will actually delight in seeing England fail".

Indeed they did have the support of the Tories, after the Tories and the country were lied to by Blair, on his feet in the House of Commons.

"45 minutes to war"

"dodgy dossier"

The death of David Kelly.

How selective your memory is.

The Labour party is party that contains war criminals whose actions have lead to the death of over a million.

But go on vote for them. After all we cant have an old Etonian in can we?

Despite the fact that he has

created 2million jobs

halved the deficit etc.etc. etc.

Yes and they got royally screwed as a result and Forsyth has been a pariah within the party ever since.

Salmond is the canniest politician in the country, patient, manipulative and ruthless, he will run rings round Milliband as he has every other UK politician he has dealt with.

Well said sir, correct in all regards.

Remember the Chilcott inquiry is still being held up by Blair and Browns prevarication.

It may not be produced until the end of the year. There is strong speculation that the report will condemn them as war criminals, and those that supported them. They may well include Milliband and Balls.

Sorry, who is Forsyth? Lord Forsyth the Conservative. Why is he held as the pariah?

The clue is in the bit in bold, t'was a case of "keeping your enemy closer" at the time. The SNP isn't exactly a minority government anymore. Love or loathe him (2nd for me), Salmond has played the Tories and Labour in equal measure and given them a political masterclass which will take them (and/or any other non-nationalist party) years and years to overcome. Credit to the man, as best a case 'well played Sir' as I've seen in a long time.

Within the Tory party he is identified as the Tory who allowed himself to be duped into supporting Salmond.

Absolutely correct. A brilliant politician, but, the stakes are too high to allow this man any where near power in Westminster. He has to have an agenda that makes the UK fail. He cannot do otherwise.

His ambition is to make Scotland independent, having lost the independence vote he must seek other ways to do achieve his lifes desire. He will be prepared to alienate the English to suit his own ends. To do this he will make the country ungovernable.

Remember, before you poo/poo the above, no one ever thought the SNP would take power in Scotland, they now look set to take literally every constituency.
