Xbox 360 special editions

Are they worth any more than regular models? I have a star wars one and i was going to take it to CEX but i was advised not to as they dont give good prices and dont pay you more for special editions. Im not after making a mint but i dont want to be ripped off either so can you good chaps and chapesses give me an idea of worth?

It has the box, the pad, the headset, the kinex, 29 games.

Whats a rough idea on value. The games are a mix of racing, shooting, adventure games and has COD Ghost, Tomb Raider, Forza 4, Star Wars, Halo Reach to name but a few

I guess a look on ebay would be your best guide of what people are actually willing to pay for it. Saying it's worth more is OK, but is someone going to actually pay it?

No they're not worth anything.

They may be 'special editions' but really they still made thousands of the damn things.

 

Now the Xbox One is out you can't give the old 360 away, of course CEx won't give you a 'good price' they've probably got a warehouse stuffed full of the sodding things no-one wants.

With 29 Games, if you sell it all together, I'd say around £200-£250

You might need to consider splitting the bundle. Games are very personal and the ones you like might not appeal to others.

 

Looking at completed listings on Ebay, the console alone goes for around £120 - £150.

 

This one with 13 games fetched £165.

I wouldn't either, stick XBMC or on it and continue to enjoy it

 

Last time I went in to part/ex PS3 games they were offering £1 a game, they're just not interested in buying the older stuff anymore

Plenty of guides on Google, not done one myself but have used my friends a couple of times and it's really very good.

Simple answer: you can't.

 

Get an intel NUC, or a pi or that cube thing. They are very cheap.
