Cheap Venue Hire, please help!

Hi,

Need a very cheap venue for a pre-wedding party that allows your own catering.

 

Not too fussed about location or style (don't mind a community centre), just need a good price.It does not have to be big, only need it to accommodate 100 guests max (would not mind it to be between two different rooms). Unlike the typical Hen or Stag, it will be civilised as its a family gathering.

 

If anyone knows a good place, please let me know.

have you tried the philedelphia on upperthorpe..£50 returnable deposit...we had my daughters 18th there on friday great room set out...lighting good.... brill night ..we hired there dj £150 ...good value for money ..we will definatly use again

The Golden Lion is a local family run public house near Bramall Lane. We are in a central location, close to the city centre and local transport links so ideal for family & friends trying to attend.

 

The property has recently been fantastically refurbished to create a warm traditional and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for any event.

 

We regularly hold events for a variety of occasions such as birthdays, weddings, charity days etc and would always work with you to tailor the event to your needs and requirements.

 

There are no hire charges and we could provide a DJ and karaoke for FREE in some circumstances if required or you can bring your own.

 

We can also arrange the catering for you and provide some delicious hot or cold food for any budget or again you are free to bring your own food.

 

Unfortunately The Golden Lion is a one room venue so we would be unable to close the pub to our regular customers. However we would be happy to reserve an area for your guests. We regularly hold events and its always a great atmosphere.

Hillsborough WMC are very reasonable have used them for weeding/birthday events quite a bit in the past
