Cillit Bang is awesome for cleaning engines up, use some of that and a couple of rags.

Problem with using pressure washers, steam cleaners and stuff is the risk of getting water ingress into electrical components and such.

You shouldn't really need a steam cleaner to find an oil leak either, even on clapped out dirty old engines.

Depends if its petrol or diesel. Diesel not a problem, but petrol you just need to keep revs high while its steamed, or cover main electric bits, should be no problem

Are you joking about Cillit Bang or is that straight up???? my car desperately wants a good clean up and I'd be daft enough to try this even if it was a wind-up!!!!
