The Sheffield Cook Book

Recommended Posts

This book is out now and is great.

It features many of the restaurants, shops and traders I'm familiar with in Sheffield but also some I wasn't.

As well as little pen pics of the various contributors there are also recipes as well.

Tonight I'm making the Merluzza Fiorentina (cod with almonds and spinach) which is the recipe from Vitos.

I've also discovered an ethical coffee supplier in Sheffield that I didn't know existed.

Can't wait to try some more of the recipes in it!

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of the dishes you cook, the reception to the book has been great so far.

Cheers, Paul.

The Merluzza Fiorentina was wonderful. There were quite a few separate stages to the recipe but nothing unduly difficult. Get the timings right and it's fine.
