I've got a mount field B&S mower which I service myself.

 

The gaskets, plug, filter are available from Broadfield mowers or similar.

 

There are quite a few videos on youtube which can give you a feel. If you did basic car maintenance in the pre-electronics era then you should be fine.

Try power tech at Killamarsh or fosters garden centre at Rotherham

Is it leaking from under the bowl on the bottom of the filter.?

I can sort you this if you like.

Yep sounds like it's the carb is faulty causing the float yo flo
