Got a match coming up in june.will be pole fishing it.

Luck of the draw which lake i`ll get on-its a Blades vs owls match,60 pegger.

Im on the red and white side.Never fished either of these ponds.

Advice on baits tactics etc.thanx.

Lanta, you fish to the island and I would imagine pellet or worm would work,

 

Is it Split not Strips? on split bomb with 6mm banded pellet or pellet waggler, on our charity match me and the young lad had 54lb fishing short with worm mixed with dead maggot and micro pellet we had a mix of Ide and carp, hope that helps.
