Outspan   10 #1 Posted April 22, 2014 Hi,  Looking for one or two collaborators for a low-fi, light-touch Rockabilly project. Upright Bass would be great, percussion also. Think Eddie Cochran meets Tom Waits with a bit of Reverend Horton Heat thrown in.  I play guitar and other stringed things mostly rhythm some lead, but Brian Setzer I aint. For mood and presentation my top live band at the moment are The Urban Voodoo Machine.  I like building instruments, so if anyone's willing, I'll build an upright suitcase bass. See my blog for a 4- string guitarI built. http://bendylanpedler.blogspot.co.uk  I also front a Rock & Soul band and we are in need of a trumpet player. You're very likely to do better than you would on here.  If Steptoad's not busy in other bands at the minute though, he's a top double bassist.
