choogling   14 #13 Posted March 7, 2018 November 1967, I remember Amen Corners Andy Fairweather Low now a highly respected guitarist with Paul Macartney and Eric Clapton going down on his knees singing "Gin House" and Hendrix with a yellow can of lighter fluid setting fire to his guitar. There were other groups on the bill, and there have been previous threads about the night on the forum. Under age drinks were in order after in the pub in the building on the corner opp the Crucible below The Brown Bear and Head of Steam {Yates ?}  impossible to cost today but in 1967 ten shillings would buy five pints of stones bitter with bitter today around the three quid mark that was still fantastic value for money.
