johnsbucket   10 #1 Posted April 8, 2014 Startled and shaking, Nerves past breaking, No confidence to be seen, In this delicate being, Quivering near the edge, As she stepped on to the ledge, Daring not to look down, Taking in her last view of this sorry town, Crowd multiplying by the score, Do you think she will jump? Not really sure, Barely seconds from certain death, Edges closer, the crowd holds its breath, She lets go, she decided to jump, Hit the floor with an almighty thump, Blood oozing pavement smothered, A jacket placed on top, her face now covered, Dead now as dead as can be, People sobbing uncontrollably, Why is the question?
