Loyalty free photos? Sheffield,famous people and landmarks.

Im after royalty free photos of sheffield landmarks or people for a project, does anyone have any i could use or point me in the right direction?

Its for a commercial project so they need to be royalty free and non-copyright.

If i cant find any ill have to get the camera out!

The up to date pics arent a problem but i was after some old ones too if possible.

Iconic sheffield landmarks and famous people from sheffield i cant sort.

Does anyone have any they would be happy for me to use?

I have some of the old steel mill some were n a friend has a few old ones round Sheffield. I will ask him

What's the intended use as that may affect how you can get photos sorted?

Any photos that have been taken by those not long deceased will very likely be in copyright.

I dont think the recently deceased will be contacting me.

The intended use is to make up a bigger picture using the small ones to offer for sale.

Would you also expect food suppliers to give you free food to you if you wanted to open a restaurant?

I said it was for a commercial project in the first post and have made no attempt to decieve anyone! Some would be happy to see a piece of artwork for sale that they have had a small part in producing. Ill discuss terms with anyone kind enough to let me use their pic in my finished piece.

The pics wont be reproduced in their original form? And the picture produced will be of my own design.

Ive a few ideas really. Would you like me to run them through you for approval !

Ha ha looks like I was given a day off from the forum for my thoughts.

 

 

 

If it's good enough for the BBC to make money from pics sent in by viewers then it's good enough for the o/p.
