What agency recruits for Forgemasters?

Hi folks, it seems like forgemasters themselves don't know what agency they recruit from (great HR it seems) and they also do not know whom they are recruiting from the agency by name (health and safety much?)

 

All a bit odd really. So if you work for the agency or if you are the agency; could you tell me who you are?

agency work should just be used for what they were set up to do (temporary work) the gov should not be allowing companies to run its workforce using these kind of workers. workers who work alongside agency workers should be asking themselves will I be a agency worker this time next year. will I be able to rent a house on a zero hours contract/live/pay bills etc . well done thatcher this is what your policies have done for the working man/woman

That's not what a recruitment agency does, that's an employment agency! A recruitment agency does the advertising and initial interviewing. The interviews are then done by the employer and person set on with a 'regular' contract. There are employment agencies for temp or contract work and some do both. I have been through the process at both types of agencies in my industry since 1995 as most of my industry recruit via agencies. Before the days of the Internet you might have seen school leaver roles in the local press but everything else, temp or perm went via an agency.

Hah, it is not me applying; but I need to do a check is why I am asking. It is odd that they don't know who is working for them, surly it is a safety issue.
