Sheff marathon results

I ran today and they said we would still get a time, where can I find it ?

No idea, the website seems to be down. I reckon they've gone into hiding!

They've said they'll publish the results (of a race that didn't happen - an interesting concept!) - but I expect they've had other things on their minds this afternoon!

Congratulations on your first half marathon; you rebel runner you!

 

I was told (by other runners) they have a clause in the T&C's, such that they don't have to give refunds. Haven't checked this myself though.

 

However, it's worth considering the impact on monies local charities will receive from the event, were runners to get refunds.

I ran my race, drank plenty of water, got the t-shirt...if I can get the chip time as well, then I won't be reclaiming any money. Still waiting, though.

 

You would think that the organisers would be keen to get the results up ASAP to try and pacify people.

Usually the website crashes for a day or two. This fiasco has been on the cards for a year or two imo. We had fun handing out (delayed and unofficial) jelly babies by SUFC.
