Sheffield Half Marathon is a shambles

Recommended Posts

My thoughts to all of the runners who have put in hours and hours of training, the sacrifices made, the cost of entry, kit and travel. Alongside the pre-run anxiety. All for nothing.

Why are the police trying to stop people running. There is no law that says it's illegal to run or walk in/on the public highway in the UK. And DON'T play the public safety card - they are adults and responsible for their own lives. If they get run over, it's their fault - and the fault of the driver who was driving without due care and attention.

Tour de France - you gotta love SCC, (useless ****s) bring on the shambles!

The biggest dropped testicle since Nick Clegg invited Farage to a debate :hihi:

I'm kind of proud of how incompetent they are, if your going to have a rubbish council then you may has well worst. At least people will know where we are today. :D

It would certainly appear to be the case according to the Beeb

One of my friends was in town to watch the race at and he said it all looked like the race was still on and a few other friends running along happily, he didn't believe that it's been cancelled.
