French Skipping

Can anyone remember French Skipping in the 70's and 80's? Run a youth group and would love to teach the girls but can't remember anything.

There are some youtube videos on it. I vaguely remember trying when I was about 8/9 years old and not doing too bad at it.

Spent hours doing it. Elastic tied around the chair legs and me dad playing hell because he wanted to read the paper in peace and I was jumping all over his feet.

I used to love french skipping in the 60s. Yes, the elastic stretched round two dining chairs. I spent hours doing it......... must have drove my mom & dad mad but can't ever remember them complaining. In fact I can still remember the moves now !!

I loved it too, but I suspect that if I attempted it now I'd end up with a broken ankle and concussion.
