Janus   28 #6 Posted March 19, 2014 didn't realize that there was one in sheffield, thanks! thanks, i'll check them out  I believe the road is called "Little London road" and it`s in Healy Sheff. (Not the other London road).  I would advise getting a Portamig make too. They go down to as low as 20amps.
 Share this content via...
lelele   10 #7 Posted March 19, 2014 I believe the road is called "Little London road" and it`s in Healy Sheff. (Not the other London road). I would advise getting a Portamig make too. They go down to as low as 20amps.  They seem to be a little out of my price range! haha. I probably should of mentioned ... I'm looking for a sort of beginners welder that would get the occasional use on a project car. As much as I'd love one like you mentioned, I can't really justify spending that much at the minute
 Share this content via...
Locksley   10 #8 Posted March 19, 2014 Aldi have MIG welders every now and then, worth a check
 Share this content via...
geared   303 #9 Posted March 19, 2014 They're usually gasless and rubbish, they seem to have Arc ones in at times as well.  Brand new cheap mig welders are a waste of time, false economy and not worth the hassle.  Look for a decent used welder instead of a cheap new one.
