Mikes10 Â Â 10 #1 Posted March 19, 2014 I have been asked by an elderly relative to obtain Sanatogen Tonic Wine with added Iron Morrisons have Sanatogen Original but don't have the one with added iron. Â So does anyone know if it's obtainable over the counter in Sheffield?
 Share this content via...
MaryBob   10 #2 Posted March 19, 2014 I've seen Sanatogen wine in the Rhythm & Booze on Abbeydale Road. Not sure if it was added iron though.
 Share this content via...

Mattenmurg   10 #4 Posted March 19, 2014 I'm pretty sure that as with the lovely Buckfast it has a disclaimer 'tonic does not imply medicinal properties'.
 Share this content via...
tara   10 #5 Posted March 19, 2014 My Nan use to buy this years ago it had healthy things in it then but I looked at the ingredients a short while ago and there's nothing healthy in it now.
 Share this content via...
Mikes10 Â Â 10 #6 Posted March 20, 2014 Apparently it contains Sodium Glycerophosphate which may (or may not) prevent the formation of Kidney Stones, and red wine is rich in antioxidants which may (or may not) help prevent heart disease if drank in moderation (1 small glass per day). Â But this is not helping with the original question.
 Share this content via...
