Claire_   10 #14 Posted March 11, 2014 Don't they inject it with a special resin?  If its a chip the can but they cant fill my crack  ---------- Post added 11-03-2014 at 11:32 ----------  When it was nice and small it could have been repaired, probably at no cost to yourself though your insurance*. If it has to be replaced you'll probably have to pay the excess. jb  * worth checking whether it effects your no-claims.  No claims is unaffected thankfully. Regarding size its on the passenger side behind the visor so it was a good 2" before my passenger noticed it. Now its about 11" and growing. rossyrooney   12 #16 Posted March 11, 2014 I was told that in the old days a glazier would drill a little hole at the end of the crack to stop it going any further.  It was then that I realised what a ladies tummy button was for. geared   303 #22 Posted March 11, 2014 Just pour boiling water on it if you want to make it grow.  You go hammering down some rough country lanes and smashing through potholes and you'll find yourself with a bill for having suspension replaced and wheels straightened.
