johnsbucket 10 #1 Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) THE COMING OF THE SPRING Love the coming of the spring, Listen and hear the birds sing, Tulips and Daffodils come into full bloom, There is already some in a vase in our room, Plants being pollinated by those busy bees, Tree’s growing buds that will become leaves, Ponds and rivers and tiny streams, Ducklings appear in yellows and greens, Animals come out of winter hibernation, A sense of wellbeing felt around the nation, Out in the fields the Ewes with their lambs, Also quite a lot of new mothers pushing prams, Spring cleaning and Gardening are jobs that come next, We need to go to garden centre it says in a text, No doubt we will buy shrubs and plants, And something to get rid of those troublesome ants, We may buy a creeper to grow up that wall, Soon most will be planted, veg and all, Do some hanging baskets and Cuprinol that fence, Cover up plants at night if you’ve got any sense, You never know we may still get a frost, Then most of plants’ may well be lost, With a bit of light rain and a bit of warm sun, They will all grow and be there all summer long. johnsbucket Edited March 10, 2014 by johnsbucket Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
