Obelix   11 #806 Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) BPA and trading standards?  I'd be onto the police about them committing offences under the Theft and Fraud acts! With any luck they may actually do something if enough people complain. Edited October 1, 2015 by Obelix
 Share this content via...

melthebell   862 #810 Posted October 1, 2015 If the wardens have been altering the times then the drivers clearly haven't "done the crime"  Its not a crime though can some people read?
 Share this content via...

richard15   10 #812 Posted October 25, 2015 I have just received a letter from a debt agency telling me about illegal parking at Berkley precinct off Ecclesall road. They are asking me to pay £160.00 within 2 weeks for an offence I committed back in mid July. Although I do park in this parking area from time to time , they do state that a sticker was placed on my windscreen and the parking company has been trying to contact me in the intervening months. I did not have a sticker on my windscreen, although I suppose it could have blown off (unlikely). I have had no other correspondence since the supposed offence. I am not denying that I may have parked longer than the 2 hours allowed. I consider the action they are taking is completely out of order .  Has anyone had a similar problem like this and should I pay up? geared   303 #813 Posted October 25, 2015 It a private parking charge, there's lots of information online about how to properly deal with them. 10 minutes on Google should get you the information you need.  Don't ignore it though, they can take you to court. pennangton   10 #814 Posted October 25, 2015 Basically the sign above the machine says no parking restrictions on Sunday. However, if you read the machine it says you have to pay ( see link ). What's your thoughts would the parking ticket be valid? http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz17/pennangton/Mobile%20Uploads/20151025_133343_zpshiorvdh1.jpg http://rs809.pbsrc.com/albums/zz17/pennangton/Mobile%20Uploads/20151025_133343_zpshiorvdh1.jpg?w=480&h=480&fit=clip  ---------- Post added 25-10-2015 at 18:18 ----------  Both pics should show on link
 Share this content via...
