Clown Shoes   10 #1 Posted March 6, 2014 Matthew McConaughey will not return for second season!  How very disapointing!  And a bit lazy if you ask me.  http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/matthew-mcconaughey-will-not-make-true-detective-return-after-finite-first-season-9167639.html
 Share this content via...

Hal Jordan   10 #4 Posted March 6, 2014 it's been the plan all along, each series will have new lead characters.  think it's a good idead, keeps it totally fresh.
 Share this content via...
lovely lady   10 #5 Posted March 6, 2014 it's been the plan all along, each series will have new lead characters. think it's a good idead, keeps it totally fresh.  Totally depends on who it is! As clown shoes said earlier in the thread, if I'd known before I got into it, I wouldn't have bothered.
 Share this content via...
Clown Shoes   10 #6 Posted March 6, 2014 Game of Thrones has seen alot of characters come & go but its been quite fluid.  Its takes a few episodes to get to know their history & personality which means just as your getting to know, love or hate them its over.  Like an 8 hour movie that takes you 2 months to watch.  Its not for me. medusa   16 #7 Posted March 6, 2014 As soon as I saw him in the lead role it was plain that he filmed that during his weight loss phase for playing the character in Dallas Buyers Club for which he won the Oscar the other night. He isn't anything like as thin and gaunt now, so it would be really hard to work a 20kg weight gain and looking about a decade younger into the script anyway.
