Another yob culture act at Gleadless Valley School affecting others

Travelling on a recovery truck today was a burnt out 10 plate transit minibus belonging to Gleadless Valley Community School. Graffiti on side and totally burnt out after being torched- a total write off.

well its taken them 6 days to shift it then ! they also torched a few cars and then an allotment last sat.

yes it was in the star,they for whatever reason didn't have it insured for its full amount

sounds silly to own a bus and not insure it for its replacement value

How can you do that, you carnt do it with car insurance they ask you how much its worth but they decide on pay out, how could you insure an £8000 car for £4000?

never had any of that kind of trouble at the valley when I was there it was all very quiet. and lived on the calley for over 40 yrs and we had very little trouble in all that that time only a little round the gaunt pub, which was a magnet for blokes scrapping at weekends. and a bit up at newfieid where gangs of youths hang about just needs a van at each site with a few bobby's to throw them in the van and lock them up. there was a a police offe for years at the side of the gaunt, should have been left then yobs could be thrown in there till morning till parents could come and pick them up after they had been dealt with by magistrates x

there was an incident last weekend on the saturday on the carpark of the old peoples tower blocks at herdings where three vehicles were destroyed, also the other week the bus shelter at the bus terminus was also set on fire and destroyed, it seems that a pyromaniac is on the loose
